Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Shakopee knocks off Prior Lake
January 10, 2025: Shakopee, MN 55379 The Shakopee Sabers ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Prior Lake Lakers to 1 in the Sabers non-league victory on Friday.
The Sabers now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeville North for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Shakopee will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over East Ridge (Woodbury, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Prior Lake moves to 6-7 on the season. The Lakers travel to Eagan (Eagan, MN) to play the Wildcats in a South Suburban bout on Saturday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Eagan lost 6-5 in their recent non-league bout against East Ridge (Woodbury, MN)
