New Mexico High School Basketball - Manzano routed by Albuquerque Academy
January 10, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 84-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Chargers travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 1-8. Los Alamos lost 73-21 in their recent non-league match against Artesia (Artesia, NM)
The Monarchs now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albuquerque for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Manzano will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-55 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
