January 10, 2025: El Paso, TX 79928 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) and the host Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX), observed Coronado's basketball team knock off Eastlake by a score of 51-42.
The Thunderbirds (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Franklin was knocked off by Eastlake (El Paso, TX), 47-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Eastlake will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
