Maryland High School Basketball - Walter Johnson trounced by Northwood
January 10, 2025: Silver Spring, MD 20901 Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 62-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to meet the Blazers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Blazers enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paint Branch for a match on Friday, January 17.
