January 10, 2025: Yuma, AZ 85365 Fans at Friday's league battle between the San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ) and the host Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), saw San Luis's soccer squad hold off Gila Ridge by a count of 1-0.
The Sidewinders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Raiders enter the battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Cibola tipped Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Hawks battle the San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ) in a battle, on Wednesday, January 22. Gila Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
