Connecticut High School Basketball - Ridgefield overwhelms Bridgeport Central
January 11, 2022: Ridgefield, CT 06877 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) and the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), saw Ridgefield's basketball squad wallop Bridgeport Central by a tally of 81-38.
With the victory, Ridgefield improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Warde (Fairfield, CT) to play the Mustangs in a Fairfield County challenge on Friday, January 14. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Warde lost 50-44 in their recent league challenge against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Bridgeport Central will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Presidents come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 71-45 non-league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT).
