Florida High School Basketball - Northwestern edges Central

January 11, 2022: Miami, FL 33147

The Northwestern Bulls (Miami, FL) basketball nipped the host Central Rockets (Miami, FL), 81-80 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulls (12-1) will now prepare for their test against South Miami (Miami, FL). The Cobras go into the 5A District 16 test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, South Miami got by Palmer Trinity (Miami, FL), 72-53, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Carol City for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 12. Central will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Hialeah (Hialeah, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-6.
