January 11, 2022: Chester, PA 19013 The Chester Clippers (Chester, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA), 70-66 in Tuesday's league test.
The Clippers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Reading (Reading, PA). The Red KNights go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Reading got by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA), 77-60, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Academy Park for a Delaware Valley test on Thursday, January 13. Penn Wood will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 78-45 non-league loss to Great Valley (Malvern, PA). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
