January 11, 2022: Lake Arthur, LA 70549 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) basketball squad nipped the host Lake Arthur Tigers (Lake Arthur, LA), by a margin of 42-35.
The Broncos (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Plainview (Glenmora, LA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Plainview got by East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA), 69-42, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Lafayette Christian Academy for a 2A District 6 outing on Friday, January 14. Lake Arthur will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 88-41 league win over Welsh (Welsh, LA). The Knights record now stands at 12-6.
