The Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), 65-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record.

The Tigers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Claxton for a A Public Region 3 test on Friday, January 14. Metter will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 60-57 league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.
