Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI), 65-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Standish-Sterling upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ithaca (Ithaca, MI) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Ithaca won 55-48 in their recent league bout against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI)
