Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Heights can't hold off Minneapolis
January 11, 2022: Blue Rapids, KS 66411 The Minneapolis Lions basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Valley Heights Mustangs to 46 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beloit for a non-league contest on Friday, January 14. Minneapolis will battle a Trojans team coming off a 67-37 non-league win over Chapman (Chapman, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-2.
The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rossville (Rossville, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Rossville was nudged by Rock Creek (St. George, KS), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
