Indiana High School Basketball - North Posey overwhelms Mt. Carmel
January 11, 2022: Poseyville, IN 47633 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) and the visiting Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL), saw North Posey's basketball squad wallop Mt. Carmel by a tally of 62-41.
With the victory, North Posey improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN) to play the Braves in a Pocket challenge on Friday, January 14. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Tecumseh lost 59-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Springs Valley (French Lick, IN)
Next up, the Golden Aces play the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) in a Little Illini challenge, on Friday, January 14. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 32-30 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IL).
