In Tuesday's league outing, the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball squad edged the host New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), by a count of 54-47.

The Wreckers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Cardinals go into the Fairfield County outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Greenwich held off Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 49-31, in a league outing.
