The Union Rockets basketball team (Modoc, IN), was overwhelmed 58-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN)

The Vikings now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph Southern for a Mid-Eastern battle on Saturday, January 15.

The Rockets (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears come into the Mid-Eastern battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Monroe Central was overwhelmed by Union City (Union City, IN), 36-33, in a non-league battle.
