Washington High School Basketball - Curtis topped by Federal Way
January 11, 2022: University Place, WA 98466 The Federal Way Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Curtis Vikings to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur for a 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic contest on Saturday, January 15. Federal Way will battle a Golden Gators team coming off a 93-72 league loss to Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA). The Golden Gators record now stands at 6-1.
The Vikings (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sumner (Sumner, WA). The Spartans come into the 4A South Puget Sound contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Sumner prevailed over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA), 73-34, in a league contest.
