Oregon High School Basketball - St. Mary's tops Illinois Valley
January 11, 2022: Medford, OR 97504 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) and the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad knock off Illinois Valley by a count of 48-28.
With the victory, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Far West challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.
Next up, the Cougars play the Lost River Raiders (Merrill, OR) in a 2A Southern Cascade challenge, on Friday, January 14. Illinois Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 46-28 non-league win over Hosanna Christian/Triad (Klamath Falls, OR).
