Ohio High School Basketball - Jefferson can't hold off Shawnee
January 11, 2022: Lima, OH 45806 The Shawnee Indians basketball team scored 28 points and held the visiting Jefferson Wildcats to 27 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapakoneta for a Western Buckeye contest on Thursday, January 13. Shawnee will battle a Redskins team coming off a 39-35 league loss to Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 7-7.
The Wildcats (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ada (Ada, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Northwest contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Ada was nudged by Allen East (Harrod, OH), 56-42, in a league contest.
