Nebraska High School Basketball - Scotus overwhelms Norfolk Catholic
January 11, 2022: Norfolk, NE 68701 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) and the host Norfolk Catholic Knights (Norfolk, NE), saw Scotus's basketball squad wallop Norfolk Catholic by a tally of 53-18.
With the victory, Scotus improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Lincoln Christian won 38-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Louisville (Louisville, NE)
Next up, the Knights play the Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Norfolk Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 58-39 non-league loss to North Bend Central (North Bend, NE).
