Massachusetts High School Basketball - Winthrop crushes Swampscott
January 11, 2022: Winthrop, MA 02152 Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA), 51-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winthrop upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Revere (Revere, MA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Revere won 45-34 in their recent league bout against Malden (Malden, MA)
Next up, the Big Blue clash with the Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 19. Swampscott will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
