Next, the Firebirds face the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 13. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ).
