The Monarchs now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brooke for a Ohio Valley AAAAA battle on Friday, January 13. John Marshall will confront a Bruins team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 3-6.
The Big Reds (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Buckeye Local beat Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH), 52-50, in a non-league battle.
