January 11, 2023: Canton, IL 61520 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) basketball squad beat the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), by a margin of 57-45.
The Farmers (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints go into the non-league outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Bloomington Central Catholic defeated Monticello (Monticello, IL), 79-61, in a league outing.
The Little Giants now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini outing on Friday, January 13. Canton will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 58-37 league loss to Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 2-14.
