Green Street Academy Chargers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Green Street Academy upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Dunbar (Baltimore, MD) to play the Poets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Poets go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Mariners play the Harford Tech Cobras (Bel Air, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout, on Thursday, January 12. Joppatowne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
