Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), 67-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vincent Memorial upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Scots host Imperial (Imperial, CA) to play the Tigers in a Desert bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Imperial won 73-36 in their recent league bout against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) in a Imperial Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Southwest EC will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 60-36 league win over Brawley (Brawley, CA).
