Washington Township Minutemen (Sewell, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ), 68-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Washington Township upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Camden Academy Charter (Camden, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Pennsauken Tech (Pennsauken, NJ).
