West Virginia High School Basketball - Bluefield trounces Mount View
January 11, 2023: Bluefield, WV 24701 The Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV), 59-21 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Beavers (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors go into the Coalfield AA test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Wyoming East was trounced by Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 37-36, in a league test.
The Golden Knights now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Graham for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Mount View will encounter a G-Men squad coming off a 54-8 league loss to Richlands (Richlands, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 2-9.
