The North Henderson Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Chase Trojans to 18 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pisgah for a 3A Conference 54 contest on Thursday, January 12. North Henderson will battle a Bears team coming off a 56-18 league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Bears record now stands at 12-4.

The Trojans (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the 2A Conference 41 contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Patton was routed by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 70-18, in a league contest.
