January 11, 2023: River Ridge, LA 70123 The John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Warren Easton Eagles (New Orleans, LA), 55-48 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks go into the 5A District 9 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Archbishop Chapelle got by St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 56-43, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to McDonogh 35 for a 4A District 11 test on Thursday, January 12. Warren Easton will encounter a Roneagles squad coming off a 35-34 non-league win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 2-5.
