The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs to 50 in the Fighting Green Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Green Hornets now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 17.

The Mustangs (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Eagles enter the AAAA Region 4 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Airport was outscored by South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 57-52, in a league contest.
