The Mount Calvary Christian Chargers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Alliance Christian Gryphons to 56 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Shore Christian Academy for a Commonwealth Christian - West contest on Friday, January 12. Mount Calvary Christian will meet a team coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to York Country Day (York, PA). The record now stands at 4-4.

The Gryphons (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Renaissance Academy ran past Collegium Charter (Exton, PA), 59-56, in a league contest.
