The Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ), 55-10 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Veritas Prep was trounced by San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ), 66-36, in a non-league test.

The Sultans now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host North Phoenix Preparatory Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Bagdad will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 61-52 non-league win over San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-6.
