Missouri High School Basketball - Aurora nips Seymour
January 11, 2024: Aurora, MO 65605 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO) and the visiting Seymour Tigers (Seymour, MO), saw Aurora's basketball squad hold off Seymour by a tally of 62-58.
With the victory, Aurora improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Houn Dawgs host Monett (Monett, MO) to play the Cubs in a Big 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Monett lost 57-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Marionville (Marionville, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Norwood Pirates (Norwood, MO) in a Summit challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Seymour will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 69-60 non-league win over Cabool (Cabool, MO).
