New Jersey High School Basketball - Bayonne ripped by Plainfield
January 11, 2024: Bayonne, NJ 07002 The Plainfield Cardinals basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Bayonne Bees to 53 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perth Amboy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Plainfield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 68-62 non-league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
The Bees (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ). The Bruins enter the Hudson County - American contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, North Bergen was routed by Union City (Union City, NJ), 48-31, in a league contest.
