North Carolina High School Basketball - Veritas Christian Academy trounces Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy
January 11, 2024: Arden, NC 28732 The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC), 74-27 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Fire go into the Western Piedmont test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Christian Family Academy walloped Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC), 79-45, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Lake Lure Classical Academy for a Western Piedmont test on Tuesday, January 16. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will encounter a Raptors squad coming off a 60-41 league win over Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 12-2.
