New Jersey High School Basketball - North Hunterdon nips Voorhees
January 11, 2024: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ), 45-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Hunterdon upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Steinert lost 53-45 in their recent league bout against Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ)
Next up, the Vikings play the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks (Washington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Voorhees will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 48-33 non-league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ).
