St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), 63-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Ansgar upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Saints travel to Osage (Osage, IA) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 12-0.

Next up, the Bison play the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. North Iowa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 61-29 non-league win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA).
