North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax knocked off by Northampton County

The Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Southeast Halifax Trojans to 56 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Pitt for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. Northampton County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 75-49 league loss to Washington (Washington, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-10.

Next up, the Trojans play the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Southeast Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 83-63 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC).
