South Carolina High School Basketball - Pee Dee Academy nipped by Williamsburg Academy

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Williamsburg Academy Stallions basketball team scored a tight 51-48 triumph over the Pee Dee Academy Eagles.

In their next game, the Stallions face the Carolina Academy Bobcats (Lake City, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II match, on Tuesday, January 16. Williamsburg Academy will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record.

With the defeat, Pee Dee Academy moves to 8-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC) to face the Generals in a non-league match on Friday, January 12. The Generals enter the match with a record of 14-4. Cathedral Academy won 44-31 in their recent league match against Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC)
