Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK) and the host Wister Wildcats (Wister, OK), saw Talihina's basketball squad hold off Wister by a count of 40-37.

With the victory, Talihina upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers host Stigler (Stigler, OK) to play the Panthers in a Black Diamond challenge on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Stigler lost 86-44 in their recent league challenge against Pocola (Pocola, OK)
