Colorado High School Basketball - Forge Christian overwhelms Platte Valley
January 11, 2024: Kersey, CO 80644 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) and the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), saw Forge Christian's basketball squad wallop Platte Valley by a tally of 46-24.
With the victory, Forge Christian improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Fury travel to Colorado Academy (Denver, CO) to play the Mustangs in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Colorado Academy lost 57-21 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO)
Next up, the Broncos play the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Platte Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO).
