The East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) basketball felled the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), 60-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Trojans (12-11) will now prepare for their test against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, St. Louis Catholic was beaten by Church Point (Church Point, LA), 60-32, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Reeves for a C District 5 test on Tuesday, January 16. Plainview will meet a Raiders team coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-12.
