Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton Prep thwarts Abington Heights
January 11, 2025: Scranton, PA 18509 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) and the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), observed Scranton Prep's basketball team knock off Abington Heights by a score of 75-57.
The Cavaliers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders come into the Lackawanna 1 challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, West Scranton dropped by North Pocono (Covington Township, PA), 68-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Abington Heights will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 50-32 league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA).
