The St. Mary's Dragons basketball squad (St. Louis, MO), was crushed 76-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL)

With the victory, Alton advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Redbirds host Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to meet the Kahoks in a Southwestern battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Kahoks enter the battle with a record of 8-9. Collinsville lost 58-37 in their recent non-league battle against Burroughs (St. Louis, MO)

The Dragons now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sikeston for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17.
