January 11, 2025: Ansonia, OH 45303 Talawanda Brave (Oxford, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), 51-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Talawanda advances its record to 3-8 on the year. The Brave host Cincinnati Christian (Fairfield, OH) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-4.
The Tigers now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mississinawa Valley for a Western Ohio match on Saturday, January 18. Ansonia will face a Blackhawks squad coming off a 41-27 non-league loss to Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-7.
