January 11, 2025: Iron, MN 55751 Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN), 78-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cherry advances its record to 18-0 on the year. The Tigers host East Central (Sandstone, MN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-5. East Central won 58-57 in their recent non-league match against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN)
The Tigers now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paynesville for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16.
