January 11, 2025: Danville, IA 52623 The Danville Bears (Danville, IA) basketball edged the visiting Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA), 56-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Holy Trinity Catholic for a SEI - South bout on Tuesday, January 14. Danville will play a Crusaders team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Durant falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to play the Comets in a River Valley bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 5-8. West Liberty won 74-36 in their recent non-league bout against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA)
