Wisconsin High School Basketball - Darlington victorious over Delavan-Darien
January 11, 2025: Delavan, WI 53115 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Darlington Redbirds basketball team scored a good 76-61 triumph over the Delavan-Darien Comets.
The Redbirds (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Chieftains go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Riverdale was topped by Royall (Elroy, WI), 82-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Comets confront the Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Delavan-Darien will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 86-33 league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, WI).
