January 11, 2025: Sulphur, OK 73086 The Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK) basketball toppled the visiting Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK), 57-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chickasha for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. Sulphur will play a Fighting Chicks team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Plainview (Ardmore, OK). The Fighting Chicks record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Duncan falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Demons host Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK) to play the Bears in a 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Marshall lost 65-54 in their recent non-league bout against Ada (Ada, OK)
