January 11, 2025: Metamora, OH 43540 Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Fairview Apaches (Sherwood, OH), 63-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Evergreen advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Vikings host Wauseon (Wauseon, OH) to face the Indians in a Northwest Ohio match on Friday, January 17. The Indians enter the match with a record of 5-5. Wauseon lost 41-39 in their recent non-league match against Defiance (Defiance, OH)
The Apaches now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Center for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Fairview will face a Tigers squad coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Paulding (Paulding, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
